Honda Dealers Taking Orders for All-New Civic, Refreshed City
Any eagle-eyed motorist will begin to notice signs being placed at all Philippine Honda dealerships starting today. In it, they're announcing that they're taking in pre-orders for the all-new Honda Civic as well as the re-freshed City.
This is a bit of good news considering Honda Cars Philippines has suffered tremendously in 2011, especially in the latter half thanks to supply problems because of the wide-spread floods in Thailand.
Click after the break to find out more details about these two new cars from HCP.
Though details about the all-new Civic are still not widely available, we do hope it's a much better offering than the North American market Civic which has been described as dull and uninspired by more than one motoring scribe.
The re-freshed City is already being displayed at the Honda Thailand website and here are some details:
It's apparent that the new City will loose the matte gray robotic grille and in its place is a new chrome job with three horizontal slats. There's also a revised bumper design that looks sportier than the original model. Over at the back, the City will also gain a new tail lamp design. It's capped off by a new alloy wheel design. Inside, the City will also gain new fabrics for the seats, new blue-lit instrumentation and steering wheel mounted controls for some models.
Under the hood, the City makes use of the same 1.3-liter and 1.5-liter i-VTEC engines mated to either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic.
Philippine dealers are already taking orders for the all-new Civic and City. Head over to Honda Cars Philippines' official website to locate the dealership nearest you.
