The recent 4th CAMPI Philippine International Motor Show showcased Mitsubishi Motors Philippines’ soon to be launched entry in the very competitive sub-compact passenger car segment, the stylish and eco-friendly all new Mitsubishi Mirage.   The all new Mirage features excellent fuel economy, very environment friendly with very low carbon emission, optimized equipment for exceptional value and most of all its fun and easy to drive. 

Excellent fuel economy for the Mirage is achieved with an all new 1.2-liter 3 in-line DOHC MIVEC gasoline engine and complemented with its lightweight body at only 800 kilogram and class leading aerodynamics.  Other than top rate fuel economy, the Mirage also features generous space which can fit five regular adults and still leaving room for 235 liters of cargo space.

Exceptional value and uncompromising safety is what you can expect on the all new Mirage as it features standard dual-SRS airbags, Electronic Time and Alarm Control System and Multi-Information display are standard for all variants. Meantime the high end variants are supplemented with Anti-Lock Braking (ABS) system with Electronic Brake Distribution giving more peace of mind when driving on wet conditions.

In addition, the Start/Stop push button and Keyless Operation System, Multimedia Entertainment system, fully automatic climate control, 15-inch alloy wheels found on the high end Mirage models are just some of the features which add to Mirage’s fun factor.   Mitsubishi Motors Philippines also announced in advance the suggested retail prices for the Mirage as follows: the Mirage GLX manual transmission is P498,000, GLX with continuously variable transmission or CVT at P548,000, and high end variants GLS with manual transmission at P588,000 and P638,000 for the GLS with CVT.

Deliveries for the all new Mirage will start in November, but as early as now Mitsubishi Motors Philippines is getting a lot inquiries and reservations for this exciting hatch.  During the Philippine International Motor Show, MMPC launched the Mirage Pre-Order Exclusive wherein those who have placed a reservation from August 16 until October 31st are guaranteed a P40,000 pre-order incentive.   The pre-order exclusive is in the form of a P25,000 outright markdown from the suggested retail price and P15,000 to be used for Mirage genuine accessories.  Customers who wish to avail of this Mirage pre-order exclusive can just make a P10,000 refundable deposit and this entitles him to a pre-order coupon which should be registered at the newmirage.ph microsite.  At the same time those who will register for the Mirage pre-order exclusive at the same time purchase the car until December 31st are entitled also to win another Mirage GLX MT at the raffle which will be drawn on January 13, 2013.

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines has also announced that it will be conducting a Mirage Pre-Order Exclusive Road Tour for those who missed the CAMPI Philippine International Motor Show and wishes to get a glimpse and inspect the actual car.  The Mirage Pre-Order Exclusive Road Tour will happen on the following dates and venues:  September 1-2 at SM San Fernando, Pampanga; September 8 to 9 at SM Iloilo; September 15-16 at SM Cebu; September 22-23 at Robinsons Lipa; September 29-30 at SM Bacoor and October 6-7 at Abreeza, Davao.
