Chevrolet Set to Re-Enter Makati with New Dealership
Chevrolet is set to re-enter the Makati market with the formal groundbreaking of its newest dealership located in the heart of the business district’s automotive row. Last week, The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI), the exclusive importer and distributor of Chevrolet automobiles and parts in the Philippines formally signed an agreement with BT Auto Sport, Inc. to open a new dealership located along the vibrant automotive strip along Pasong Tamo Extension in Makati City. The new venue is ideal in terms of size, location, and accessibility for the market.
TCCCI’s President and Managing Director, Atty. Albert Arcilla, believes that everything has worked out exactly has it should. He says, “This partnership with BT Auto Sport, Inc. is what we believe is a partnership that is meant to be! Divine intervention has dictated that the opening of Chevrolet Makati dealership should materialize under their management, and everyone in both teams is confident that the next step is key to moving the business up to even greater heights.”
Chevrolet Makati will be managed by a team that is already experienced in the automotive world as well as other varied businesses encompassing real estate, consumer goods, as well as media and entertainment via the Solar Group. This experience will come in handy in making the new 1,800 square-meter dealership a hardworking component in realizing Chevrolet’s goals of expansion.
Makati is one of five new dealerships already in the works to cater to the growing Chevrolet market in the Philippines. And because Chevrolet has a full line-up of vehicles for every stage in life from the fun mini car, the Spark; the stylish sub-compact Sonic; the award-winning Cruze; the practical Captiva; the spacious Orlando; the DURAMAX-powered pick-up, Colorado; the versatile Trablazer; to the iconic Camaro, Chevrolet is certainly on a roll. In fact, if its recent past is any indication, Chevrolet has already received accolades such as being named as the best automotive customer service from J.D. Power. With its comprehensive product line as well as aspiration for consistently good service, Chevrolet will certainly grow bigger and better in the years to come.
Yeah I saw that, it replaced the old Cash & Carry Express shop.
ReplyDeleteWhatever happened to the Chevy Pasong Tamo dealer just a few blocks away (going to Hope Makati)?
From what I heard--the rent of the old Chevy Makati is already too high. Too high that it was better for Chevy to have the lease lapse and simply move to their new location beside Mantrade.
DeleteFunny, that's the 3rd time that Chevy has been moving around Pasong Tamo with the first one beside Toyota when it was still under old management.
