Michelin tires rode high at the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia Singapore (PCCA SG) when New Zealanders Earl Bamber and Craig Baird claim a one-two finish in the PCCA SG race held in conjunction with the Singapore Grand Prix.

Michelin Philippines Chief Representative Michael Nunag announced today that Michelin continues to be the exclusive worldwide supplier of tires for the new Ferrari 458 Speciale.

In developing the alliance between the new Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tire and the new Ferrari sports car, the tire manufacturer and the carmaker pooled their cutting-edge engineering resources, wheel assembly expertise, passion for performance, measuring technology and the skills and analytical capabilities of their developers and test drivers.

The simultaneous co-development of the tire and the car, through tests on both the simulator and the track, led to superior performance in three specific areas that were identified prior to the start of the project: faster lap time on dry asphalt, consistent performance lap after lap and optimal grip on wet roads.

In short, the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tire is an integral part of the new Ferrari 458 Speciale and a key component of its exceptional performance.

JOHOR, MALAYSIA—From the air-conditioned comfort of our SUV, I could see the trail getting noticeably smaller and smaller. As our convoy of 26 off-roaders slowly made its way through the muddy and sandy trail, the trees started to cave in, blocking what should have been the midday tropical sun. Soon, the trees thinned out and the mud turned into hardened, petrified sand. Only then did Gary Humphrey and Bill Wu jump down from their Jeep Wrangler, letting out a wide grin that almost said, “Now the real work begins.”

Review: 2013 Mazda CX-5 AWD Sport

Ford Philippines Sales Rise 44 Percent; All-New Ranger Continues to Drive Overall Growth

Following a month that saw severe storms impact the country for a second consecutive year, Ford Philippines today reported August retail sales that rose 44 percent year-over-year to 826 units, driven by continued strength in demand for the class-defining all-new Ford Ranger.

The Porsche Training and Recruitment Center Asia (PTRCA) celebrated the commencement exercises for its 9th batch of scholars held last Saturday, 31 August 2013. Sixteen students were carefully selected by Porsche officials and these scholars underwent complete training in preparation for their role as certified Porsche Service Mechatronics to be deployed in various Porsche Centers worldwide. UPDATED: 2014 Honda Jazz / Fit: This Is It (New Info, Photos)

Honda has revealed a couple of photos of its all-new Jazz (known as the Fit in Japan) a few weeks after a magazine leaked out some photos. And from the photos, we like what we're seeing. It sports Honda's new "Exciting H Design!!!" design language, which the brand's attempt to inject more style into their products after some pretty lackluster effort of late.
