Rolls-Royce Manila is set to add an additional vehicle to its existing portfolio: the one they deem to be the most dynamic, most powerful Rolls-Royce ever: the Wraith. Packing a 624 horsepower, 800 Nm V12 engine, the Wraith can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds. And yet, it’s imbued with the all the qualities typical of Rolls-Royce: sumptuous, luxurious, and contemporary.
The two-door Wraith features a sweeping fastback design with bold lines and a raked rear glass that appears like an “athlete poised in the starting blocks.” The Wraith also features a deeply recessed grille, wide rear track, and two-tone exterior paint scheme.
Aside from the more powerful engine, the Wraith features a wider rear track and shorter wheelbase compared to the Ghost—the car the Wraith is based out of. The suspension has also been recalibrated to minimize body roll and discretely amplify feedback while cornering; while the steering weight is heavier.
The Wraith also features advances in both mechanical and electrical technology such as a new heads-up display, adaptive headlights, and the keyless opening trunk. The Wraith also comes with an advanced voice command system as well as the rotary control knob for the infotainment called “Spirit of Ecstasy Rotary Controller”. The Wraith also has a touch pad that allows pinch and pull functionality similar to that of a smartphone.
