A North Expedition with the All-New Ford EcoSport and Fondo Manila
Ford Philippines partnered with Fondo Manila for a road cycling event known as “Northern Expedition”. Forty participants composed of professional and leisure cyclists geared up for a two-day cycling ride, conquering 80 kilometers on Halsema Highway, known as the highest elevation point in the Philippine highway system at 7,400 feet, and a 70-kilometer stretch via Ambuklao Road near Baguio City. Three all-new EcoSport units were used as support and gear vehicles throughout the grueling journey.
“The all-new EcoSport is full of innovative and practical features that help make life easier, including twenty practical storage spaces, ample room for utmost comfort and a versatile cargo space, enough to fit 705 liters of space. Add that on top of its stylish and fuel efficient package, the EcoSport truly is a one of a kind vehicle for all your urban adventure needs,” said Minnie Valencia-Bustamante, vice president for Marketing and Sales, Ford Philippines.
The all-new EcoSport is set to attract a new generation of urban customers searching for an all-around vehicle to explore the city. “We share in the excitement of our customers with the on-going deliveries of the all-new EcoSport,” said Valencia-Bustamante.
