MIAS 2014: Volvo to Show Off 2014 Line-Up
Volvo Philippines has given us a sneak peek of their upcoming display at the 2014 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) that opens tomorrow, Thursday, April 3. Headlining their display is the all-new 2014 Volvo V40 Cross Country—a more rugged, more off-road friendly version of the V40 sport wagon.
The V40 Cross Country is 40-mm higher than the standard V40 and contains the usual Cross Country detailing such as beefier wheels, honeycomb mesh grille, upright LED daytime running lights, and contrasting black finishes on the bumpers. Inside, the V40 Cross Country features the fully-graphic instrument cluster that debuted in the V40. The V40 Cross Country also comes with the same safety suite that Volvos are known for including Lane Keeping Aid, Enhanced Blind Spot Information System, and Cross Traffic Alert.
Aside from the V40 Cross Country, Volvo Philippines is also showing off the regular V40 as well as the refreshed XC60 crossover. A Polestar-massaged Volvo C30 sports coupe with Volvo R-Design elements will also share the limelight with the V40 Cross Country.
We’ll have more information about the 2014 Volvo models when it becomes available. We’ll be live from the Manila International Auto Show starting tomorrow, so make sure to check back often for the latest news. You can also follow us on Instagram: carguideph or on Twitter: carguideph.
