Columbian Autocar Corporation (CAC), the exclusive distributor of Kia Motors in the Philippines, formalized its agreement to source its engine oil requirements from Total Philippines. Under the terms of the agreement, Total Lubricants will be one of Kia Philippines’ recommended partners for the sale of lubricants across all Kia’s local after sales service networks.

This alignment reflects an international cooperation agreement signed in 2011 between Kia Motors Corporation and Total Lubricants, designating the latter as a major first-fill engine oil supplier for Hyundai and Kia factories across the globe.

Ms. Ginia R. Domingo, President of CAC, welcomed Total Philippines to the Kia family saying; “Kia’s after-sales team is steadfast in providing Family-like care to our customers and earning that trust means we recommend high-quality performance oils for our high-quality vehicles.”

Mr. Apollo R. Rosal, Head of Kia’s After Sales Department added; “Total Engine Oils provide our after-sales network with a price-competitive and highly-refined base oil which are designed to deliver optimum performance from our vehicles.”

The ceremony was attended by Total Philippines Corporation President and Managing Director, Mr. Dilip Vaswani, who expressed sincere gratitude to Kia for the warm welcome and called the strategic arrangement a “partnership to remember”.

The deal is in force from 2014 to 2017, the drop and ship out arrangement means engine oils like Total Quartz Lubricants will be delivered directly to the dealers. Aside from supplying Kia with approved quality engine oils, Total also offers to share technical and marketing support which may include; conducting workshops, as well as promotions, advertising, public relations and events.
