The Yokohama Philippine GT Championship is moving to the Clark International Speedway in Pampanga this August 30 and 31 for Round 3 of the 6-leg 2014 season.

The series has so far managed to form a grid of 17 drivers in every race for GT 300, GT 200, GT 150, and GT 100. But all in all, there are 20 drivers competing in this year's championship. And after just 2 races, we now have clear favorites in each of the four GT classes.

In GT 300, Taysan Mayor Don Don Portugal has dominated all of the Sprint and GT races, securing him a massive 75 points lead in the standings. He is then trailed behind by Veli-Matti Kaikkonen in the Häfele Mitsubishi Evolution with 45 points and actor Jomari Yllana in the Hyundai Genesis Coupe with 42.

As for GT 200, the young Paolo Mantolino's consistent performance allowed him to climb up the standings with 105 points. He manages to stay ahead of 2010 PTCC champion Joey Perry in 2nd with 66 points and 2013 PTCC champion Carlos Anton with 60.

Meanwhile, GT 150 is the biggest class of the series with 10 drivers fighting for the championship. And currently leading the standings is Joel Portugal with 87 points, who's the only driver in the group to be able to finish all races in the season so far.

Finally, Edwin Rodriguez in his Mazda Philippines-sponsored Mazda 2 has been sweeping all the races in GT 100.

Practice is scheduled on Saturday (August 30), while race day (August 31) will feature a the 10-lap Sprint Race in the morning and a 17-lap GT Race in the afternoon. Other support races slated for the race weekend include the Philminiracers Championships Series, VW KaFER Cup, Winds Formula Philippines, and the newly-formed Sparco Bracket Circuit Racing.
