Motor Image Pilipinas (MIP), the authorized distributor of Subaru in the Philippines has completed its three-leg 2014 Subaru Palm Challenge Philippine Face-off with the last leg held at Bonifacio High Street in Bonifacio Global City last September 27, 2014. With this last leg, MIPI has selected the country’s 10 representatives that will be sent to Singapore for the MediaCorp Subaru Challenge Asian Face-Off.

227 determined challengers kicked-off the Manila leg all with the goal to outlast all other participants. Several familiar faces joined this year’s competition including 2013’s last man standing Manila winner, Alex Neblasca who posted a record time of 13 hours 4 minutes and 46 seconds during the previous year’s competition. This year, Alex surpassed his previous time with a new record of 13 hours 39 minutes and 25 seconds.

The top 8 winners from the Manila leg will join the 2 winners from the Cebu and Davao leg who will be competing in Singapore for the MediaCorp Subaru Challenge Asian Face-Off. The 2014 Subaru Palm Challenge Philippine Face-off Manila leg’s 8 winners are as follows (in order starting from the challenger with the longest time):

Of the top 10 winners, 9 winners were able to bring home Php 5,000 each and exclusive Subaru merchandise; while the last man standing, also last year’s victor, winning Php 15,000 cash prize, exclusive Subaru merchandise and the right to bring a plus one to accompany him in Singapore.
The 8 winners from Manila along with the Cebu and Davao leg winners will compete this November in Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza, Singapore where they will go head-to-head with challengers from around Asia such as Singapore, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Should the last man standing from the MediaCorp Subaru Challenge Asian Face-Off come from the Philippines, a grand prize of a brand new Subaru XV 2.0i worth P 1,298,000 will await them upon their return to the Philippines.
