Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) officially announced the availability of the All-New City VX MUGEN Special Edition.

The All-New City VX MUGEN Special Edition enhances the ownership experience by being equipped with factory-installed genuine MUGEN accessories. It comes with a unique front sports grille, front and rear under spoiler, side under spoilers, 17” alloy wheels with nut and lock set that are exclusively designed for car enthusiasts who will appreciate the premium and dynamic styling of the All-New City. The MUGEN emblem completes its sporty look and makes the City VX MUGEN stand out on the road.

The All-New City debuted in April 2014 with futuristic concept “Touch Tomorrow” that let its customers experience its premium styling and dynamic performance. Equipped with Honda’s improved 1.5 liter i-VTEC engine that delivers maximum output of 120 ps at 6600 rpm. The 1.5 liter i-VTEC engine is mated to a new 5-speed Manual Transmission and new Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT with paddle shifters) developed under Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology. Honda’s new engine technology delivers excellent driving performance and improved fuel efficiency.

Furthermore, Honda also focuses on other equally important features that make the All-New City above in its class. Honda significantly improved its packaging which translates to roomier interior space. Moreover, technologically advanced equipment were added such as the 7-inch advanced touch screen Display Audio, audio streaming via Bluetooth connectivity and voice recognition control, Bluetooth Hands-free Telephone, automatic air-conditioning system with touch panel, auxiliary, USB, HDMI port and three accessory sockets for driver and passengers’ convenience.

The All-New City VX MUGEN Special Edition will be available in Gold Brown Metallic, Taffeta White, Crystal Black Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic and Carnelian Red Pearl colors with a special introductory price of P 1,030,000. Meanwhile, customers who already own the All-New City prior to this offer may avail of the City MUGEN Accessory Package with the special price of P 189,000, inclusive of installation fee.

Factory-installed accessories on the All-New City VX MUGEN Special Edition will have the same 3-year warranty that comes with the vehicle, while 1-year warranty is included in the City MUGEN Accessory Package sold separately. The All-New City VX MUGEN Special Edition will be made available in the Philippines in limited quantity.
