Volkswagen is Now in Cebu
Iconic Dealership, Inc. formally opened its second showroom right at the heart of the Queen City of the South: Volkswagen Cebu. The simple ceremonial inauguration was led by Volkswagen official distributor Automobile Central Enterprise, Inc. (ACEI) President & CEO, Mr. John Philip S. Orbeta and IDI General Manager, Mr. Nemesio Solomon, Jr.
Volkswagen Cebu is situated at the heart of Cebu’s rising commercial business district – North Reclamation Area. The more than 4,000 square meter constructed floor area offers enough space to showcase eight vehicle displays, a delivery handover lounge, parts & accessories shop, Customers‘ Lounge, negotiation offices and reception offices. The high-tech showroom also boasts of using the latest Volkswagen Interactive Showroom application. This unique platform was developed by Linked Tech Solutions of Hong Kong and debuted at Volkswagen HK Showroom in November 2013. This makes the Philippines second in the world to offer these technologies, making Volkswagen showrooms the most innovative and digitalized facilities in the country.
“Cebu has always been cosmopolitan and at the forefront of innovation. Hence, it only makes sense that we open our second dealership at the automotive row of Cebu City; not only will it cater to discerning Cebuanos, but it will also serve as the hub for the entire Visayas region. In doing so, I wish to highlight the importance of Cebu to Volkswagen and I want to emphasize our commitment to the growth of our brand“, said Mr. JP Orbeta, president and CEO of ACEI.
The facility also offers a relaxing atmosphere for clients who wish to have their vehicles checked. The service center features advanced diagnostic tools, genuine Volkswagen parts, a workshop that includes eight service bays plus Dialogue Reception, Wheel Aligner and Paint Booth and hands-on VW Certified Technicians that offer only the highest level of expertise and quality.
