Auto Focus People's Choice Awards Poll Opens on April 6
Will the Toyota Vios garner a third “Automobile of the Year” award in the Standard Model category? And, will the Lexus IS350 repeat as “Automobile of the Year” among Luxury models?
The quest for top honors resumes when the Auto Focus People’s Choice Awards (AFPCA), an annual merit program to determine the country’s most popular automobile brands and models organized by Sunshine Television (STV), officially rolls-out its public on-line poll on April 6, 2015 immediately after the Holy Week break.
The year’s edition, the 11th, will feature a protracted 6-month online public poll process that can easily be accessed through a dedicated page on Facebook and via the Auto Focus website at www.autofocus.com.ph. Only a simple registration procedure is required after which a participant will be directed and guided through an on-line ballot that allows submission of votes daily until the poll culminates on September 30, 2015. The on-line ballot will have a new quick-vote feature that will allow voters the option of immediately selecting their choices for Standard and Luxury “Automobiles of the Year.”
Alternately, voters may also choose to go the full route and submit individual choices in any of the 22 (11 Standard and 11 Luxury) “Model of the Year” categories from which their candidates for Standard and Luxury “Automobiles of the Year” should be picked.
The AFPCA voting will also be brought closer to the public via on-site voting centers at select public and motoring-related events throughout April to September. The first of these will open at the “Manila International Auto Show” on April 9-12, 2015 at the World Trade Center where visitors may register and cast their daily vote for Standard and Luxury “Automobiles of the Year” at the AFPCA poll booth and even get a chance to draw for prizes.
Mazda's gonna get all the awards. I guarantee it.
