Already previewing the all-new Trax, Chevrolet Philippines has revealed more of their plans for the upcoming Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) on April 9 to 12 at the World Trade Center. Chevrolet is aiming to ‘broaden’ their market appeal with new versions of the Colorado and Trailblazer.
First up, a dressed-up version of the range-topping Chevrolet Trailblazer, called the LTZ SE, will be shown to the public. This new model will serve as the new flagship variant of their mid-sized SUV. From the single photo handed out, it seems the Trailblazer LTZ SE will sport a wrap-around body kit with LED daytime running lights. Likely, there will be some interior trim enhancements as well.
Joining the Trailblazer LTZ SE is a more rugged version of the Colorado pickup called the Colorado Tracker. Chevrolet Philippines calls its new Colorado Tracker an ‘off-road ready’ version of its venerable pickup.

DeleteToyota and Mitsubishi might have a presence, but only on a dealer level.
Lexus will not be present.
Mr. Ulysses plano ko po kasi bumili ng 7 seater SUV like the Fortuner, MU-X, Everest and Trailblazer. In terms of reliability, resale value is Chevrolet trailblazer better than the Isuzu and Toyota? I hope makatulong ka rin sa pagdecide ko rin hehe. thanks
DeleteAll of those you mentioned, walang problema sa reliability. Pero after a few years, parts will inevitably wear out and some have to be serviced or replaced. Let me tell you when you buy a chevy and that happens, it would be best to prepare yourself for their pain in the ass "service". Toyota has the best aftersales service but it really depends on your location. I don't know much about isuzu but it seems they're pretty reliable. Resale value, toyota beats all while chevrolet has the lowest.
DeleteThey should add more features on the lower end Trailblazer trims. Having the "best in class" power isn't enough to justify the high price tags.

I want to attend the event and see the new trailblazer and everest firsthand. How do I register for MIAS? Is admission free? Are there any age restrictions?
ReplyDeleteWhat excited me the most was the mt variant of the ltx. I mean 200hp and 500nm wow kinda like a muscle car in the good ol days with a stick tranny, if only I have the means to get one. Lol
ReplyDeleteI was not able to attend MIAS. But would anyone here can tell that aside from Trailblazer SE which is the top of the line, meron pa rn na 2016 edition? I just heard it from a friend. Was thinking of buying trailblazer pero if there's another that will come up, I'll wait for it na lang.
