Ford Celebrates Re-Opening of Ford EDSA
Ford Philippines celebrated the re-opening of Ford EDSA – the first authorized Ford dealership that opened in the country two decades ago.
The celebration was attended by Mark Kaufman, president of Ford ASEAN, and Kay Hart, managing director of Ford Philippines, who both joined dealer principal Edmund Yee, his family and management team in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official re-opening of the newly renovated dealership.
“This dealership offers so much Ford history in the Philippines, and is a testament of Ford’s ongoing commitment to the Filipino people to provide a truly unmatched customer experience. It’s an honor for me to celebrate with our dealer partners on such an exciting day,” said Mark Kaufman, president of Ford ASEAN.
The new Ford EDSA dealership is a three-floor facility covering an area of 3,000 square meters. It boastsof a two-floor, 14-vehicle showroom anda 24-bay service area.
The facility is built according to Ford’s global Brand@Retail II design concept that provides each and every Ford showroom and the service center the same universal image and ambience that is reflective of the world-class Ford brand.
“The re-opening of Ford EDSAvalidates how much Filipinos have embraced the Ford brand over the last two decades, and this will drive us to go even further in ensuring we deliver a consistent and world-class customer and ownership experience in all our dealerships,” said Kay Hart, managing director, Ford Philippines.
Ford EDSA also comes equipped with high-speed WiFi internet connectivity and entertainment lounges for the convenience of customers while visiting the dealership.
Service bays are equipped with all the latest tools and technologies to allowservice teams to deliver world-class service. Additionally, service teams and technicians are engaged in continuous training that will keep them updated on Ford’s global technologies, processes and standards.
“Our history with Ford started in 1991 when Ford Motor Company granted us a parts and service franchise business in the Philippines. In 1994, we expanded our business to include automotive retail sales and that made us the first official Ford dealer in the country. We’re proud to be the first and we look forward to being first in the hearts of our customers,” said Edmund Yee, president of Ford EDSA.
Ford remains on track with its plan to expand its nationwide dealer network to 40 locations across the country by end of the year.
