2016 Nissan Juke vs the Competition
In the span of a week, two new sub-compact crossovers have entered the Philippine market, the 2016 Nissan Juke and the 2016 Chevrolet Trax. Now, how do these two sub-million peso offerings fare against the current segment leader, the Ford EcoSport? How does it do (theoretically) against the Mazda CX-3 and of course, the in-between sized Honda HR-V.
Wonder no more as we have our usual comparative chart after the break.

HRV way too overpriced against its counterparts
ReplyDeleteEntry level variant Trax, and HRV, TOTL EcoSport... @Ulysses can you verify the sensor/Cam for the Trax, according to Chevy Pasig the LS will have sensors, but the LT will have both. Hopefully CX-3 will be in the sub 1M range especially if they have the diesel variant that will be the killer in this segment.
ReplyDeleteNot sure why HRV has the nod for HP though... wouldnt reaching peak HP at a lower RPM and maintaining it be more desirable than having it come at a higher RPM?
Hi ully, can you pls.post the true inside picture of the juke.coz i think they put the higher spec, photo of the juke, salamat
ReplyDeleteThose buying the Nissan Juke probably are those people who want something for a change. :))

ReplyDeleteUhhh... no. It's just the same story on other markets. Juke still dominates the Cx3.
DeleteJuke is the most recognized crossover car availble in the market.. a headturner... can actually beat supercar in a drag race.... yes of course an upgrade models juke-r nismo....
ReplyDeleteJuke-R not nismo, its only an added turbo 1.8 engine

ReplyDeleteI may need to buy a car as my 2015 CRV might be sold very soon. My choice are: Honda HRV, Mitsubishi ASX GSR, Nissan Juke and the Chevolet Trax My bases would be: sufficient ground clearance, performance, after sales service, fuel efficiency; not necessarily in that order. Advice please?
