Honda Launches Zoomer-X
Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) has released two new motorcycles designed for the new breed of rider who want technology, innovative features, and practicality. In their new campaign dubbed “Generation S”, HPI launched the all-new Zoomer-X. The Zoomer-X joins HPI’s other Generation S offerings: the BeAT-Fi and Click125i.
Like the BeAT-Fi and Click125i, the Zoomer-X comes loaded with features such as Enhanced Smart Power, Idle Stop System, and Combined Brake System. The first, is a new engine technology for Honda that results in quieter starts and smoother engine revs. In addition, it allows Honda’s new-generation of scooters to be more fuel efficient yet powerful. The second, automatically switches off the engine after three seconds of idling and restarts it automatically with just the flick or twist of the throttle. This technology maximizes fuel economy especially in stop and go traffic. Finally, with the Combined Brake System, these scooters distribute braking force to the rear and front wheels with just the squeeze of the left brake lever.
The Zoomer-X features an upgraded version of Honda’s 110-cc PGM fuel-injected engine. It has 5 percent higher torque and 6 percent higher power compared to before and should max out at 62.5 km/L done using the ECE R40 Test Method.
In terms of design, the Zoomer-X sports a fully digital meter panel, new headlight encased in a stainless steel frame, inverted shock absorbers, 12-inch tubeless tires, unique seating compartment, and the rear naked style.
The all-new Honda Zoomer-X is now available for P 93,900 and is available in Marigold Yellow and Mat Crypton Silver Metallic.
