Mitsubishi Revives Fieldmaster Name for New Strada (w/ Brochure)


Adding more flair to its pickup truck offering, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation is reviving the ‘Fieldmaster’ nameplate as the designation for a new dressed-up version of its Strada. Meet the Strada Fieldmaster 4WD Edition.

Based on the range-topping GLS-V Sport variant, the Strada Fieldmaster 4WD Edition enters the scene with no mechanical changes. It’s still powered by the same 4D56 engine with a variable geometry turbo. It packs 178 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque and can be mated to either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic.


The Strada Fieldmaster 4WD Edition does come with added style courtesy of cosmetic enhancements and add-ons which are all dealer-fitted accessories. The package includes the Phantom Grille, a sporty black grille with vertical detailing that replaces the standard chrome grille. Next, it has a Ralliart aluminum skid plate as well as a nudge bar with PIAA LED auxiliary lamps. Over at the side it rides on two-tone 17-inch aluminum wheels called Diamond Vane. The sportier look is finished off by a sportier rear bed aerodynamic extension and of course, additional body graphics.

The Strada Fieldmaster 4WD Edition adds a premium of P 80,000 over the GLS V Sport models. This means, the Strada Fieldmaster 4WD Edition M/T arrives at P 1,440,000 while the Strada Fieldmaster 4WD Edition A/T tops out at P 1,520,000.

      Oo nga wala actually. Pero ang montero sport based rin sa strada eh not sure pa rin if safe. Mas matunog kasi ngayon issue ng montero dahil mas marami ang montero kesa sa strada sa pinas. Pero maiba naman maganda rims ng strada fieldmaster ahh
