There’s a new café in Bonifacio Global City and its location might surprise you. V by Ilustrado Café & Lounge formally opened inside the Volkswagen Bonifacio Global City showroom on 28th Street.

A concept born from the business partnership between Volkswagen and Ilustrado, V by Ilustrado was established in January of this year catering initially to customers visiting the showroom. Now, V by Ilustrado has made itself open to everyone who would want to indulge on Filipino-Spanish cuisines and selected German delicacies while in the company of the newest automobiles from Volkswagen.

“The addition of V by Ilustrado Café & Lounge elevates the overall Volkswagen lifestyle experience we want for our customers when they come in. We not only offer world-class automotive excellence, but we now also bid culinary excellence fitting of the Volkswagen mark,” said Mr. John Philip Orbeta, President and CEO of Volkswagen Philippines.

Ilustrado has a storied 27-year history serving Filipino and Spanish food and now, it extends its reach to car enthusiasts, Volkswagen owners, and patrons in the BGC area. V by Ilustrado’s resident chef, Ms. Ms. Bernice Pimentel has created a menu for a truly world-class dining experience.

V by Ilustrado has a brightly-lit, modern yet casual style that can even accommodate small group parties and events. It’s open Tuesdays to Thursdays 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. For Fridays to Saturdays, it extends its store hours to 10:00 PM. On Sunday, it reverts back to 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
