New Modulo Variants Add Sporty Styling to All-New 2016 Civic
If there’s one thing noticeably missing during the 2016 Honda Civic’s April launch was the availability of Modulo styling kits. Well, the wait is over as Honda Cars Philippines has officially launched the Civic Modulo variants.
With over 2,300 reservations thus far, the all-new Civic is enhancing its sporty appeal with the new Modulo variants. Each of the three Civic Modulo variants come equipped with a Front Under Spoiler, Side Under Spoiler, Rear Under Spoiler, Exhaust Pipe Finisher, and of course, a Modulo emblem. Inside, they all get a Side Step Garnish.
Further differentiating the three variants, the 1.8 E CVT Modulo adds a deck lid spoiler while the RS Turbo Modulo Sport receives a set of matte black Modulo alloy wheels in a 17-inch diameter.
Honda is now accepting reservations of the Civic Modulo variants with the following SRP: P 1,143,000 (1.8 E Modulo); P 1,445,000 (RS Turbo Modulo); and P 1,510,000 (RS Turbo Modulo Sport). These three variants join the rest of the Civic line-up whose prices remain unchanged: P 1,088,000 for the 1.8 E CVT and P 1,398,000 for the RS Turbo.

I presume this is the one. HCPI didn't send any back view of the Civic Modulo.
Hi Sir Uly, you think Civic's ground clearance is suited for Philippines roads? Just curious...

DeleteYour answer is in the review ;-)
Wow! Mainit-init pa! Thanks Sir Uly! :) Truly a drool-worthy car. Form and function excellently combined. So now it's a toss up between Civic and HRV. The deal breaker for me is the ground clearance. I take my son to out of town trips, and I'm a bit wary of sudden downpours and flash floods in long distance drives, tsk tsk..I wish the Civic didn't go too low with that. But I trust your judgement re. speed bumps and knee-high gutter heights in the metro. Me and my City learned our lesson the hard way. Kailangan lang talaga I-kalkula :)
ReplyDeleteIf you're really concerned with knee-high floods, then go for the HR-V. It provides an extra layer of protection that cannot be matched by any sedan.
DeleteStill, the Civic is surprising. I was taking speed bumps and humps head on (slow lang nga)...no scrapes.
Yes, HRV does comprehensively address all things a parent desires in a car, and also as I'm beyond the 'porma' stage that the Civic provides hands-down, hehe 😁 HRV it is! Really value your comments, Sir Uly! Thank you very much! :)
DeleteNo problem :-) Happy shopping!
Deletedifferences of rs modulo from the rs modulo sport? :)
