KTM Opens BGC Showroom
Adventure Cycle Philippines, Inc. (ACPI), the distributor of KTM in the Philippines opened its flagship store at the Bonifacio Global City. Located at 28th Street, the KTM store showcases its wide range of motorcycles, accessories, and apparel.
Ayala senior management including AC Industrials Technology Holdings Inc. Chairman, Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala and Vice Chairman, Fernando Zobel de Ayala were present with their families to show full support. ACPI Chief Operating Officer, Dino Santos welcomed the guests and introduced the authorized KTM dealers nationwide. Mr. Santos commented: “This is just the beginning for the Philippines. Our goal is to build motorcycles by the Filipinos and have the Filipinos ride these as well.”
AC Automotive Distribution and Retail Group Head, JP Orbeta commented on how the Austrian Embassy was key to this perfect partnership and mentioned , “We are excited to bring Europe’s most respected motorcycle brand to the country.”
AC Industrial Technology Holdings Inc. President and CEO Art Tan said: “We found a true partner who believed that we can change the fate of a country that looks beyond a service-backed industry but, into a manufacturing-based industry. Transitioning and believing in the Philippines and that all the capabilities in the country is enough to be competitive in a global scale. Right now, we are embarking on this first step, and we feel that this is a small step for what we can achieve not only as a company, but as a country.”
ACPI aims to have a One KTM philosophy which emphasizes on the importance of same pricing, same look and feel and an overall One KTM experience in all of its stores nationwide. The company plans to open 35 dealerships through its partner dealers.
Adventure Cycle Philippines Inc. is under AC Industrial Technology Holdings Inc., a newly formed unit of Ayala Corporation which consolidates its automotive and manufacturing investments.
