Does the Honda BR-V have a higher groud clearance and a better water wading than the Ecosport?
ReplyDeleteBR-V ground clearance: 200-210 mm
DeleteEcoSport ground clearance: 200 mm
As for water wading depth, Honda has yet to reveal any numbers...but are you seriously going to cross a river with either of these two vehicles?!
Yeah maybe not haha. I'm living somewhere in a flood prone area haha looking for a mini suv or possibly a entry variant pick up truck. Just to tackle some of our flooded roads. Thanks for the info!
DeleteThen I seriously advise you to consider the Rancher XLT at 1m pesos.
DeleteYeah probably plus it's a diesel. The Navara, Strada and D-Max will be one of my picks because it's the cheapest 4X2 A/T pick-ups and i don't want to go outside of my budget (Controlled budget by my wife haha). I'll consider the Ranger XLT though! Thank you!
DeleteWtf is a rancher? Sounds like some kind of western themed steak restaurant or something.
DeleteInnova killer
DeleteThis is quite smaller than an Innova. The BR-V rides on a stretched Brio platform. It's more similar to the Avanza.

Delete:p
Ohhhh it's a GTA car! I thought when he was saying Rancher he had a typo error haha.
DeleteWell, he probably might have but it's a cool coincidence nonetheless ;)
DeleteLooks like somebody's been playing too much video games for his own good.
DeleteIMO, the water wading dept is a very important feature in PH due to prevalent floods.
DeleteI hope CarguidePH can update us about the wading height of the BRV.
If the wading height happens to be at least 500mm, then Ford EcoSport will have some serious competition. 7-seater + good wading dept + sub1M = winner.
Are the car models mentioned in the comments compliant with Euro IV fuel used? With the no nonsense approach of DENR with following through with its Clean Air Act mandate, we might see in the future higher taxes for non Euro 4 engines until they are no loner allowed to be used in public roadways.
ReplyDeleteAs far as I know, Honda's entire lineup is Euro IV compliant and has been for several years now.
Deletehow about the fuel consumption guys? any ideas? is it a saver? thanks
ReplyDeleteWell my Mobilio says im doing 9.1 kml in complete city stop and go traffic, so maybe you could at least get an Idea because they do have the same engine
Deletehmmm..... this BRV might consume more gas as it is heavier than the mobilio?
DeleteDamn! autoactive will poop on this vehicle. Carguide is much better with him on the comment section. Did he get ban? No post lately.
