Caltex Philippines Opens More Service Stations in Country-Wide Expansion

Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI), marketer of the Caltex brand of fuels and lubricants, opened seven new Caltex stations in different parts of the Philippines over the past two months.

CPI continues to increase its retail presence to match rising demand for fuel buoyed by the country’s strong economy, which grew 6.8 percent year-on-year in 2016 and is projected by the World Bank to continue on an upward trend this year and next.

The newly opened stations are in:
  • Pansol, Laguna;
  • National Highway, Makilala, North Cotabato;
  • Cagayan Valley Road, Aparri;
  • Pagbilao, Quezon Province;
  • Aquiles-Zayco Road, Negros Occidental;
  • Sulat-Taft Road, Eastern Samar;
  • Provincial Road, Tabuk City, Kalinga.
All in all, these stations will make clean, safe and high-quality fuels more accessible to the rising number of motorists all over the country.

“Our nationwide efforts to expand retail services is a testament to the company’s commitment to bring premium, high-quality fuels, and services to the Filipino community. We are excited to help fuel the country’s economic growth as this provides more opportunities for everyone,” newly installed CPI Country Chairman Louie Zhang shares.

  1. And just last few years Caltex was trying to offload their local operations to Petron or Shell and exit the Philippine market.
