The ASEAN New Car Assessment Program or NCAP released data on the upcoming Mitsubishi Xpander MPV. The organization, which aims to enhance safety standards, raise consumer awareness, and encourage a market for safer vehicles in the Southeast Asian (ASEAN) region scored the Xpander with a 4 out of 5-star rating.

The first Mitsubishi MPV to be tested by ASEAN NCAP, the Xpander scored 71.66 points out of 100. For the Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) category, it stored 39.08 points, 18.69 points for the Child Occupancy Protection, and 13.89 for SATs (Safety Assist Technologies) category.


In the lead up to the Xpander’s launch sometime May, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) is holding a special VIP night at its dealerships nationwide. Those who want to see the Xpander upclose before reserving a unit may contact their nearest Mitsubishi dealer to inquire about the one-night Preview Night schedule.
