In case you missed one of 2017’s biggest automotive news, Jaguar-Land Rover is back in the country under a new distributor: Coventry Motors Corporation. With a corporate culture that puts customer service front and center, we just had to ask how Coventry Motors Corporation plans to deal with vehicles sold under the former distributor and importer.
“We are committed to provide the best customer service to all Jaguar and Land Rover customers,” says Coventry Motors Corporation President Mr. Gerardo “Gerry” Alejandro. “We are accepting all Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles for after sales service whether the units were bought from us or from the former distributor. We advise our customers to set an appointment ahead of time though to make sure we can accommodate them properly.”
While Coventry Motors Corporation will accept warranty repairs on Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles sold under the former distributor, he cautions though that vehicles bought from sources outside of Coventry Motors Corporation or its authorized dealers on or after February 15 may come with an “enrollment fee” in order to be serviced. He cautions though units sold from North American sources (identified by the Vehicle Identification Number or VIN) will not be eligible for warranty claims. This is in alignment with Jaguar-Land Rover’s global warranty policies.
During the first Jaguar-Land Rover media drive, Mr. Alejandro also revealed the first appointed dealer under Coventry Motors Corporation: All British Cars, Inc. At the helm is self-confessed JLR nut Mr. Jose Armando “Manny” Eduque. Located on 1008 EDSA Greenhills, San Juan, up to 8 vehicles will fit into the 400 square-meter showroom.
Currently though, All British Cars, Inc. is operating at a temporary 180 square-meter showroom next door. They are already accepting orders and test drives for the following Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles:
- Jaguar XE
- Jaguar XF
- Jaguar XJ
- Jaguar F-Pace
- Land Rover Discovery
- Land Rover Discovery Sport
- Range Rover Evoque
- Range Rover Sport
- Range Rover Velar
