MIAS 2018: Rota Launches 360-Degree Flow Forged Wheels
Philippine Aluminum Wheels, Incorporated (PAWI) introduces its first-ever 360-degree Flow Forged wheels at the Manila International Auto Show revolutionizing wheel manufacturing in the Philippines.
“We are very excited to introduce the Rota 360-degree Flow Forged Wheel,” said Mr. Michael S. Rojas, President of PAWI. “Our new wheel is lighter, denser, and more durable than our high-quality gravity cast wheels. And because it’s Rota, it’s very affordable too.
The Rota 360-degree Flow Forged wheels are made through a process called flow forging, a first in the country. This is done by gravity casting virgin ingots of high-grade aluminum, which is then heated and spun to form the wheel. In effect, flow forging combines the elements of making a cast wheel and a forged wheel, making it lighter and stronger than a cast wheel. This means less unsprung weight and therefore, improved vehicle handling and fuel economy.
Like all Rota wheels, the 360-degree Flow Forged wheel have gone through a battery of vigorous testing. Impact, cornering, and radial tests are carried out on the wheel to ensure a high caliber of quality the company has been known for and give customers peace of mind. Rota’s testing methods follow international standards.
PAWI will be releasing the 360-degree Flow Forged line through its extensive local and international network. It will initially be available in 3 designs, including Rota’s iconic Grid, in a variety of fitments and sizes.
With over 40 years of experience in wheel manufacturing, Rota is an industry pioneer. A manufacturer of both OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and aftermarket applications, Rota wheels has been met with acclaim the world over. Today, PAWI is able to manufacture 1,000 wheels daily by its over 300 employees.

Madaling ma bengkong mga Rota sa lubak. Get the real thing.
ReplyDeletewhat real thing? rota is as good as it gets. better than copy rims. get your facts straight amigo
ReplyDeleteAyusin mo kasi tire pressure mo para di mabengkong.
ReplyDeleteWala namang orig design ang rota puro kinopya. Ok naman rota as long as you take it slow and watch out for potholes and monitor tire pressure. Pero I would still trust orig rays or bbs
ReplyDeleteJust because it's a local brand doesn't mean it's fake. Siguro dahil cast yung gamit mo tapos low profile pa kaya madaling mabengkong.
