Subaru Philippines Updates BRZ Sportscar for 2018; Upgrades Don't Cost a Thing
While all attention was focused on the introduction of their EyeSight driver assist technology, Motor Image Pilipinas, the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in the country also quietly introduced the 2018 Subaru BRZ.
Subaru’s only rear-wheel drive vehicle in its line-up, the Subaru BRZ has been a consistently strong seller for the brand since its launch in 2012. Its newest iteration for the 2018 model year brings new exterior and interior features that should get sportscar buyers more excited.
Outside, the 2018 BRZ features a new headlamp design with hawkeye-shaped LED daytime running lights and LED signal lights. Towards the bottom, LED front fog lamps sandwiched between the aerodynamic strakes improve night time driving safety. Onto the sides, the BRZ now features a double-fin garnish on the side panel while 10-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels fill in the arches. At the back, the new standard rear spoiler adds a stronger dose of sportiness with full LED taillights completing the look.
Inside, the 2018 BRZ sports new gauges, a new steering wheel with audio and cruise control switches, and new leather/suede trimmed seats. A new Track Mode gives a wider range of selectable driving modes, while paddle shifters for the automatic transmission variant allow quick down- or upshifts when needed.
The best part? These upgrades come for free as Motor Image Pilipinas managed to maintain the prices of the 2018 Subaru BRZ at P 2,058,000 (post-TRAIN prices) for both the manual and automatic variants.

Look at that head unit, is it still 2005?
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's the problem. The head unit is still the old Toyota one.
Deleteif you can afford this car, chances are you probably have 3 or more cars already. am pretty sure you can afford to buy a 15-30k android head unit from banawe lol
DeleteIt's not about whether you can afford an upgrade or not. It's about the fact that it's a 2.058M car yet it still has an ancient head unit. Lugi tayong Pilipino.
