Foton Opens in Cainta, Their First Dealership in Rizal Province
Foton’s drive to grow its dealership network continues as the commercial vehicle giant opened its first showroom in Rizal Province: Foton Cainta.
Prominently located along the stretch of Ortigas Avenue Extension in Cainta, the new showroom boasts of a total floor area of 1,300 square meters. It’s a full 3S dealership with new vehicle showroom, parts and service center, and sales offices under the management of Cherub Auto Dealer.
“We see the opportunity amidst the adversity of high taxes on vehicles, and that is the exponential growth in Rural/Urban developments in the countryside like here in Cainta which is the gateway to Rizal province.” says Foton Cainta Dealer Principal Rene Limcaoco.
The Municipality of Cainta has a robust economy as evidenced by several commercial and industrial establishments that have emerged in the area. Because of its numerous manufacturing firms, Cainta is considered to be the richest municipality in the country in terms of income revenue growth.
Foton Philippines President Rommel Sytin agreed: “Cainta is a key potential market, and together with LICA Group, their expertise will surely help the steady growth of the brand and further contribute to the economy of Cainta.” he said during his speech at the showroom’s opening.
Foton posted a double-digit (16 percent) growth in the first quarter of 2018 based on the consolidated CAMPI/AVID Sales Report. With that, the commercial vehicle maker has become the 10th biggest automotive brand in the country.
Foton Cainta is the brand’s 24th dealership in the country and the fourth under the LICA Auto Group which includes Foton Calamba, Foton Lipa, and Foton Pasong Tamo.
This year, Foton is set to open four additional dealerships in Bauang, La Union; Bacoor, Cavite; Talisay, Cebu; and Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
