This Is How a P 56.4 Million Nissan GT-R Looks Like
A week ago, Nissan and Italdesign previewed the GT-R50 by Italdesign, a super-limited run supercar that commemorates the 50th anniversary of both the GT-R and Italdesign. It’s basically the brutally fast NISMO GT-R in a handcrafted Italian suit. And now, a few days before its global debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the United Kingdom, Nissan has finally revealed just how many will be made and how much it’ll cost.
Basically, the GT-R has always been billed as the Japanese supercar that can pretty much run circles around much more expensive hypercars. Well, thanks to its “no limits design,” the GT-R50 by Italdesign now carries a supercar price tag as well. Are you ready for it?
*Drum roll*
Each of these GT-R50 by Italdesign will set you back a cool US$ 1,050,000 or about P 56.4 million at today’s exchange rates. While this price can get you around 5 NISMO GT-Rs, the GT-R50 by Italdesign will naturally be tailor-made to each customer. Plus, no more than 50 will be produced globally guaranteeing its exclusivity.
Apart from its ultra-cool design and Alcantara-lined interior, let’s remember that underneath, it’s basically a NISMO GT-R tweaked to GT3 competition-specs. In other words, there’s 720 horsepower and 780 Nm of torque available on tap as well as a reinforced 6-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.
