Recently named World Car of the Year 2018 at the New York Auto Show, the new Volvo XC60 midsize SUV can now be seen in Volvo showrooms and pop-up stores nationwide. “We initially could only bring in limited volumes of the XC60 due to high international demand. But we now have the volume to serve our discerning Volvo clientele,” says Volvo sales head Froilan Valencia.

The XC60 also scooped the prestigious North American Utility of the Year Award earlier this year, while the soon to be launched Volvo XC40 small SUV was named European Car of the Year at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month.

Locally, the Volvo XC60 is available in the D4 variant and is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder diesel engine with 190 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. Its key features include a CleanZone four-zone climate control system, the award-winning SENSUS infotainment system, and of course, the complete line of safety features including City Safety, Oncoming Lane Mitigation, Steer Assist, and Blindspot Information System.
