Feast Your Eyes on This Weird Hyundai Santa Fe Convertible
Ah, Australia. They typically come up with the weirdest and most insane things. Case in point: this Hyundai Santa Fe convertible.
Currently a one-off, it was done by Hyundai Australia likely to show off how the Santa Fe’s aggressive new design works even with the roof chopped off. And of course, now that it gains the virtues of a convertible, it shows off the nicely-done cabin, generous cabin space, and cutting-edge infotainment system.
Now, if you’re wondering how it looks with the roof up, well, that’s another story. See, Hyundai may have lopped the roof entirely, but it doesn’t have any sort of soft- or folding hardtop to take its place. Technicalities.
There are currently no plans for Hyundai to develop a rolling tanning bed version of the Santa Fe. In fact, this particular example was done purely for promotional purposes and is actually headed to the crusher.
