Columbian Autocar Corporation Announces Recall on Selected Kia Carnival Units
Columbian Autocar Corporation (CAC), the authorized distributor of Kia vehicles in the Philippines says that 2,379 units of the Kia Carnival is subject to a recall due to its Integrated Circuit Module or ICM.
The recall which covers the second-generation VQ Kia Carnival (sold locally from 2006-2014) is inline with a proactive measure being done by Kia Motors Corporation globally for the Integrated Circuit Module or ICM. If left unchecked, the ICM may allow moisture in causing damage.
CAC, though the guidance of Kia Motors Corporation, will install additional insulation that will prevent the ICM from getting damaged. CAC says that will parts and services used in this recall are free of charge to its customers.
The full list of affected VIN numbers is available below or better yet, you can get in touch with your nearest Kia dealership to find out if your second-generation Carnival is covered by this recall.
