The much-anticipated 2019 Ford Ranger and first-ever Ranger Raptor made a huge splash last September. In fact, it’s already in the middle of an ongoing public test drive tour. Funny thing though is that no one was able to get hold of the complete specs/brochure of all 2019 variants…until now.

• Including the Raptor, there are now four main Ranger variants: Raptor, Wildtrak, XLT, and XLS.
• Only the Raptor and Wildtrak models get the new 2.0-liter motor, available (depending on the exact variant) in single and twin-turbo flavors. The XLT and XLS retains the same 2.2-liter 4-cylinder engine from the pre-facelifted Ranger.
• A rear locking differential is standard on the Ranger Raptor and Wildtrak models whether it is a 4x2 or 4x4.
• Electric power steering is standard on all but the XLS grade.
• Ford calls the new Wildtrak gray accents “London Gray” while on the Raptor, it’s called “Dyno Gray.”
• 6 speakers are standard on all variants, but the Raptor and Wildtrak models get the largest touchscreen at 8 inches. The XLT and XLS ditch the touchscreen and gets an infotainment display that’s half the size (4.2 inches).
• The variant that’s considered as the “technology leader” isn’t the Ranger Raptor, but the Ranger Wildtrak. Why? The performance-oriented Raptor variant drops Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning & Lane Keeping Aid, Forward Collision Warning, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Active Park Assist, and Auto High Beam Control—stuff which the Wildtrak 4x4 all gets.
