Mazda Philippines Finally Reveals Prices of 2019 MX-5, Mazda6, and CX-9 Signature (w/ Specs)
Last week, Bermaz Auto Philippines, the exclusive distributor of Mazda vehicles in the country gave a sneak peek of the 2019 MX-5, Mazda6, and CX-9. Collectively known as the “2019 Mazda Collection” they were finally shown to the public at the Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS).
Evoking Mazda’s refined KODO Design language first seen in the Vision Coupe Concept, the Mazda6 is made more dynamic and emotional. With its heightened levels of handling and a more luxurious riding feel, the 2019 Mazda6 gets two revised engines which are more powerful and more fuel efficient. It’s also better loaded with a Bose sound system and ventilated Nappa leather seats and safer with its 360-degree view monitor. Currently, it’s only available as a sedan (the Sports Wagon is still being sold as the pre-facelifted version).
Then, there’s the CX-9, Mazda’s flagship 7-seater SUV. It’s the most luxurious vehicle to date from the Japanese carmaker and features a more elegantly done interior with meticulously crafted Rosewood trim and Nappa leather seats. It also has improved functionality with its new 7-inch TFT gauge cluster (also found in the 2019 Mazda6), Apple CarPlay and Android Auto built-in the Mazda Connect infotainment system, and a 360-degree view monitor.
Finally, there’s the 2019 MX-5. The ultimate expression of Mazda’s Jinba-Ittai or “horse and rider as one” philosophy, the 2019 MX-5 gains more power thanks to a high-revving 2.0-liter motor making 184 horsepower. It also gains a tilt/telescopic steering wheel in both soft-top and RF flavors. A rear view camera is available for the AT variants while a new Club Edition, exclusive on the RF AT variant adds 17-inch BBS forged alloy wheels and Recaro sport bucket seats.
Pricing for the 2019 Mazda6 starts at P 1,930,000 for the Skyactiv-G 2.5 going up to P 2,250,000 for the Skyactiv-D 2.2. Meanwhile, for the CX-9, the FWD Sports Touring is pegged at P 2,380,000 while the AWD Signature Series tops out at P 2,950,000. For MX-5, the soft-top starts at P 1,930,000 for the MT, P 2,160,000 for the AT, and P 2,240,000 for either the Caramel Soft Top with Nappa Leather or Dark Cherry Soft Top with Nappa Leather, while for the MX-5 RF, it starts at P 2,250,000 for the MT, P 2,295,000 for the MT with Nappa Leather interior, P 2,330,000 for the AT, P 2,380,000 for the AT with Nappa Leather interior, and finally, P 2,680,000 for the AT Club Edition.

I was hoping that they will finally put that diesel engine in to the CX-9, they did not!
