As a whole, the Philippine automotive industry isn’t doing well. Citing factors such as the increase in new vehicle excise tax, rise in both inflation and fuel prices, and the devaluation of the peso, CAMPI says that they’re bracing for either a flat or negative growth for 2018.
In order to spur excitement and perhaps jumpstart the excitement in cars once more, the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. or CAMPI is holding the 7th Philippine International Motor Show this coming Wednesday, October 24 to Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
“We are happy to offer PIMS again this year. Our theme, ‘Future Mobility’ reflects our commitment to bring technologies and concepts that make our customers’ lives easier, safer, and more connected,” says CAMPI President Atty. Rommel T. Gutierrez.
