UPDATE: Ford just took down the photo from their Instagram account (12/15).

Saturdays are typically slow when it comes to automotive news, but leave it to Ford Philippines to drop us a very big surprise: the 2019 Ford Everest.

Inadvertently or not, the carmaker posted a photo of the refreshed 2019 Everest on their official Instagram account (see below). Though the post didn’t mention anything about an impending refresh, it’s very easy to make out that this indeed is the 2019 model thanks to the thin three-bar grille and new 20-inch alloy wheels.

You can check out more details on the Thai-market 2019 Everest here, but in gist, it gets the same drivetrain as the Ranger and Ranger Raptor as well as a slew of new niceties.

Now, given the amount of discounting thrown at the current Everest, perhaps Ford Philippines’s inventory is drying up fast leading to them having to launch the 2019 model much earlier than anticipated.
