Yes, You Can Buy this P 60-Million Nissan GT-R
If the P 7-million Nissan GT-R and P 13-million GT-R NISMO are too ordinary for you, then you should consider the ultra-limited-edition GT-R50 by Italdesign. Shown already in prototype form, Nissan has confirmed that they’re now taking orders for the seven-digit supercar.
Originally pegged at P 54.5-million based on prevailing exchange rates then, the GT-R50 by Italdesign’s price is close to blowing the P 60-million mark (P 59,512,000 based on its 990,000 Euros list price).
While the increase in price is already close to buying yet another “regular” GT-R, at least GT-R50 by Italdesign customers will be able to specify their preferred color combinations (the prototype was shown in a special gray color with gold accents). Ditto the interior as well (subject to homologation rules in the intended country of operation).
The running gear, if you recall, is based on the NISMO GT-R tweaked to GT3 competition. It has 720 horsepower and 780 Nm of torque mated to a reinforced dual clutch automatic.
Now, if you were paying attention to the last part (the one about the intended country of operation), this pretty much confirms that the GT-R50 by Italdesign is available for order in any market where the GT-R and GT-R NISMO are being sold, including the Philippines.
Customer orders and deliveries won’t be handled by Nissan though. Instead, it will be handled by Italdesign through their website. Interested parties better hurry though as only 50 will be made. Deliveries will start in 2019 and will continue through 2020.
