After showing what brands are most popular around the world, insurance provider Veygo has now revealed which supercar remains desired globally.

Using Google, they tracked down search queries done on supercar models released in the past 10 years. After compiling the average searches per month for 55 different supercars in each country around the world, it can now be said: the Audi R8 is the world’s most desired supercar.

It’s a sentiment shared by Filipinos since Audi’s mid-engined exotic is also the most desired in the Philippines. In addition, the R8 also proved popular with other ASEAN countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Brunei. It’s highly likely that the R8’s starring role in the Iron Man movies played a significant role in people’s interest.

The other popular supercar? The Lamborghini Aventador, and that one took the top spot in countries like Indonesia, Vietnam, and Laos.

Aside from the R8 and Aventador, other supercars desired are the Bugatti Veyron and Chiron and the Lamborghini Veneno. After these two Volkswagen Group owned brands, the next three most desired supercars are the McLaren 675LT, Ford GT, and Ferrari 458.
