First time’s the charm for GAC Motor. China’s fastest growing automaker scored the Manufacturer’s Class win for both the 4-hour and 12-hour segments of this year’s Kalayaan Cup Endurance Challenge.

The GAC Motor Race Team, composed of Brennan Lim, Mark Bernardo, Francis Arjonillo, Aurick Go, Sung Joon Park, Andre Tan, Jun Magno, and E.Z. Ligaya piloted a GAC GA4 sedan equipped with a 114 horsepower 1.5-liter engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. Proving its worth on the race track, the GA4 made it to the checked flag after 12 hours without any issues.

Aside from bagging the Manufacturer’s Class win, GAC Motor also scored a second place in the overall standing after 4 hours and fourth overall at the 12-hour mark.
