The Manila Sports Car Club or MSCC, just updated “The List,” a rundown of eligible cars that can gain its owners entry into the exclusive club. You can scroll through the list for yourself, but this story focuses on one new entry: the 2020 GR Supra.
That’s right. Toyota’s new flagship sportscar, the one they co-developed with BMW and built in Austria under a contact manufacturer (Magna Steyr) can now potentially gain you entry into the MSCC. This marks the first time the Supra’s ever been considered as a “sportscar” perhaps because all previous versions had 2+2 seating, while the new one is strictly a 2-seater. Of course, by extension, the G29 Z4 also gains entry this year.
At least that settles the debate that the GR Supra’s a sportscar. The only question left now is: is it really a Toyota?
