The 2020 Mazda3 is What Women Want, Apparently
The all-new Mazda3 has been named “Supreme Winner” of the 2019 Women’s World Car of the Year awards. Aside from nabbing the highest distinction of the award giving body, the Mazda3 was also voted as the Women’s World Family Car of the Year.
Established in 2010, Women’s World Car of the Year is voted on by a panel of female judges from over 30 different countries made up of specialist motoring writers, many with racing experiences. These judges are then asked to vote according to criteria women use when buying a car.
Thus safety, value-for-money, aesthetic appearance, storage space, child–friendliness, ease-of-driving, color, sex appeal, and environmental footprint are all categories the judges will be analyzing.
En route to its overall win, the Mazda3 beat out an impressive list of cars including the BMW 3 Series, Toyota GR Supra, and the Porsche 911.
The Women’s World Car of the Year is unique worldwide. It is the only award voted exclusively by women.
