Ford PH Gears Up to Re-Open Dealerships After May 15
Ford dealerships across the Philippines are gearing up to re-open after May 15. While 15 dealerships have already opened in areas covered by the general community quarantine (GCQ), the rest, including those in Metro Manila will open under the guidelines set by the modified ECQ.
With that in mind, Ford dealers are rolling out measures to maintain a safe and sanitary environment in its showrooms such as conducting regular temperature checks for everyone entering the showroom, re-organization of the dealership floor to ensure social distancing, wearing of face masks and gloves for Ford dealer personnel at all times with a hazardous waste container onsite for proper disposal, enforcement of social distancing rules in all customer interactions, thorough disinfection of all Ford dealerships three times a day, and availability of hand sanitizer dispensers and alcohol in the showroom.
On the sales and service side, Ford dealerships are also implementing a number of initiatives such as vehicle sanitation, remote sales support to give customers a first-hand shopping experience, and support for finance and expired warranties.
