This Cocktail Lets You Celebrate One of the Most Famous Turns in Motorsports

With the pandemic pausing most, if not all motorsports, the WeatherTech Laguna Seca raceway is coming up with a rather unique way to make you celebrate one of the most famous turns in motorsports: a signature cocktail.

Named “Corkscrew Paradise,” it was created at Estéban restaurant. While the authentic version requires the use of El Jefe Tequila, the drink can be replicated from the comfort of your own home using any brand of tequila.

The recipe for Corkscrew Paradise is as follows:
  • 2 oz El Jefe Reposado Tequila
  • 1.5 oz Fever Tree Smoky Ginger Ale
  • 0.5 oz House-Made Raspberry purée (house-made raspberry purée is made with fresh raspberries and simple syrup).
Method: pour tequila and ginger ale over ice in an 11 oz rocks glass, top with purée and stir.

Garnish: Lime wheel, and fresh raspberries if in season.

While the drink is inspired by motorsports, it’s important that we remind you that drinking and driving don’t mix. Also, please drink responsibly.
