2020 Maxus G50 to be Powered Exclusively by 1.5-liter Turbo Engine
In its next teaser nugget, Maxus Philippines has confirmed what engine its 8-seater compact MPV, the 2020 G50 is getting—and enthusiasts will love it.
The 2020 G50 will be available in three variants and all of them powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine paired with a 7-speed dual clutch automatic. Though Maxus Philippines left out figures such as horsepower and torque, a quick online search reveals that this particular engine configuration puts out 169 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque—figures that surpass the gasoline-powered Innova. Power is routed through the front wheels.
The Ayala-distributed commercial brand has said before that its G50 is slated for a Q3 launch. Now, the company has narrowed it down to a month: August. This may make it the brand’s first-ever digital launch in the country.

For Maxus G50, if price is right way below than Toyota Innova SRP and Mitsubishi Best Seller Expander then they have the chance to sell more way better than their expectations target. Pinoy Love 7seater MPV.
