Cavitex to Go Completely Cashless by November

If you haven’t installed an EasyTrip RFID yet, well, here’s another good reason to do so: Cavitex is going completely cashless.

Cavitex, the 14-kilometer expressway operated by Metro Pacific Investments Corporation will shift to cashless electronic toll collection using the EasyTrip system (the same one used at NLEX) by Tuesday, November 3, 2020.

The announcement was made by the Public Information Office (PIO) of the City of Bacoor in Cavite, one of the main exits of Cavitex (see announcement below). Cavitex though has yet to issue anything publicly on its social media account.

To help motorists with the shift, Cavitex and EasyTrip will be opening 24/7 free RFID installation sites at these areas:
  • Cavitex Customer Service Southbound: Southbound Lane to Cavite, 200 meters before Paranaque Toll Plaza
  • Cavitex Customer Service Northbound: Northbound Lane to Manila, 200 meters before Paranaque Toll Plaza
The Cavitex C5 Link Customer Service Center at the West Service Road though will remain open daily from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
