Mitsubishi Motor Philippines’s top-tier Montero Sport variant has become a lot more affordable this August.

With the brand’s Mid-Year Lowdown promo, the Montero Sport 4WD GT A/T can now be had with a P 230,000 cash discount or an all-in low downpayment of P 98,000 or zero percent interest for 36 months (with 30 percent downpayment).

Putting the offer into perspective, this brings the Montero Sport 4WD GT’s price down to P 2,220,000 (original SRP was P 2,450,000).

With the halting of the Pajero’s production, this Montero Sport variant becomes the flagship SUV for Mitsubishi Motor Philippines. The mid-sized 7-seater SUV “elevates your journey” with features such as smart keyless entry, 8-inch color LCD instrument panel, smartphone-link display infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual zone climate control, and a power tailgate.

Unique to PPV (pick-up based passenger vehicle) segment, the Montero Sport 4WD GT also comes with the Mitsubishi Remote Control App. This smartphone-based app allows you to control your vehicle using your smartphone.

Using the app, you can easily open/close doors, power windows, switch on/off engine, headlights, position lamp, and hazard lamp with just one swipe. The Mitsubishi Remote Control App also reminds you in case you forgot to lock your doors and switch off your headlights. It also helps you locate your vehicle in a large parking lot, displays various information about your vehicle and provides you troubleshooting solutions when the vehicle does not respond to the remote control.

It also has a full suite of safety features such as 7 SRS Airbags, Blind Spot Warning with Lane Change Assist, Ultrasonic Misacceleration Mitigation System (UMS), Forward Collision Mitigation System (FCM), Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Hill Start Assist, and Hill Descent Control.
