Chevrolet Philippines is updating the Trax compact crossover this 2020 with renewed styling and added safety features.
Officially known as the Trax Premier, the 2020 version comes with black bowtie badges, carbon gray wheels (16 inches for the LS, 18 inches for the LT), a rear quarter decal, black fin-type antenna, and functional crossbars. Inside, it gets a cabin air ionizer, dash cam, and an all-weather cargo tray.
Mechanically, the Trax retains the use of its turbocharged 1.4-liter Ecotec engine good for 140 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque. Both variants are available solely with a 6-speed automatic driving the front wheels. The Trax Premier LT though comes with the added convenience of cruise control.
Helping differentiate the Trax Premier LT from the entry-level Premier LS are: halogen projector headlights, LED DRLs, front fog lamps, side mirror turn signal indicators with power fold, push-start/stop engine, added exterior chrome, leather steering wheel, leatherette/cloth seats, 7-inch Chevy MyLink infotainment system, a 230-volt outlet, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
The Trax Premier comes in six colors: Summit White, Abalone White Tri-coat, Switchblade Silver, Pull Me Over Red, Black Meet Kettle, Seeker Metallic. The 2020 Trax Premier LS is priced at P 1,185,888, while the Trax Premier LT is priced at P 1,535,888.
