Mitsubishi Motors Carworld Pampanga delivered 166 units of Strada 4x4 GLS MT to the Department of Education in San Fernando Pampanga The turned over units join the initial 88 pickup trucks which were released in December, bringing the total purchased vehicles to 254 units.
The Mitsubishi Strada will be assigned as the official service vehicles of the Department of Education (DepEd)’s field engineers for their regular field inspections.
“No school division office will be left behind, as we continue to gear up our actions, hold on the wheels of our goals, focus on our vision, and have a safe ride with our mission,” said DepEd Undersecretary Alain Del B. Pascua during the turnover ceremony.
Aside from being the official vehicle for DepEd field engineers, the Mitsubishi Strada units will also serve as rescue trucks by the National Disaster Risk Reduction Council (NDRRC) in times of emergencies or calamities.
