Ford Philippines is giving its biggest deals yet on its North American-built SUVs, the Explorer and Expedition until the end of October (or until supplies last). The deal gives customers either a hefty cash discount or zero percent financing. How big you ask? Well, how about up to a million bucks off?
It’s understood that Ford Philippines still can’t launch the all-new 2021 Explorer locally because they still have lots of remaining stock of the current Explorer. To help move them, it now comes with between P 500,000 to P 700,000 discount this month. The top-of-the-line Explorer 3.5L V6 Sport gets the bigger discount, bring its price from P 3,178,000 to just P 2,478,000; while the Explorer 2.3L EcoBoost LTD goes from P 2,798,000 to just P 2,298,000—that’s the same price as a Ford Everest!
Meanwhile, for those who want something bigger, the flagship Expedition SUV gets a hefty one million (yes, that’s a one with six zeros) discount for both the Limited EL and Limited EL with Bucket Seat variants. This means net prices for the Expedition goes down to P 3,479,000 for the Limited EL and P 3,612,000 for the Limited EL with Bucket Seats.
If you don’t have that much cash on hand, both SUVs are also offered at zero percent interest for up to 60 months (except the Explorer 2.3L EcoBoost LTD which has a 48-month term limit) with just a 20 percent downpayment.
