Isuzu Philippines Corporation donated on October 1 sets of personal protective equipment (PPE) to its partner institutions Caritas Manila, Philippine Coast Guard, and Philippine Red Cross. This activity represents IPC’s second round of donations under its “Kasama Mo” campaign launched last June 1, with aims to provide aid to partner institutions.
The “Kasama Mo” campaign has been IPC’s continuing response to the global pandemic. Faithful to IPC’s value of being “Your Responsible Partner”, the “Kasama Mo” campaign actively promotes the importance of sharing and caring and gives an opportunity for Isuzu customers and stakeholders to support front liners with every Isuzu vehicle produced and bought. The PPE sets are utilized by the partners’ brave and devoted front liners who continue to risk their lives for their fellow citizens.
For the October 1 activity, a total of 296 sets were donated to Philippine Red Cross, Caritas Manila (294 sets), and the Philippine Coast Guard (147 sets). Representatives of IPC held simple turnover rites at the partner institutions’ satellite offices in Manila (for Caritas Manila, and the Philippine Coast Guard) and Santa Rosa City in Laguna (for Philippine Red Cross).
IPC President Hajime Koso has vowed IPC’s continuing support for the country’s medical front liners. “We assure our partner organizations that this will not be the end of our assistance to them, as we vow to continue to support them in fighting this pandemic,” he stressed.
